This great little recipe can be used as a sauce (Monkey Gland) or you can use it as a marinade after pre-cooking Chicken, and then either grill or "Braai" the Chicken.
2 Cups Tomatoe Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
2 Tablespoons Worscester Sauce
2 Teaspoons Sugar
4 Tablespoons Flaked Garlic or 1 teaspoon Fresh Garlic
4 Tablespoons A.1 Sauce
4 Tablespoons Fruit Chutney (Chunky or Smooth - your preference)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into one pan, mix very well and then heat slowly.
If done in a Microwave 30 seconds at a time, mix and repeat until hot.
If serving on red meat (steak), pour over as Monkey gland Sauce and serve with
Chips, Peas and a side Salad.
If using as a marinade, pour hot over pre-cooked Chicken, let it stand until cool and then grill or "braai". Serve on a bed of Rice or with Salads.
